The transfer from Montessori is generally smooth. There can be, of course, an initial adjustment period, just as in any transfer between schools. In our experience, academic success is not affected by the transition from Montessori to a traditional school. The skills learned in the Montessori classroom will effectively equip your child to deal with the transition.
